get to know me

I've been involved in photography in a variety of settings since around 2013. I started out capturing my high school sporting events from the sidelines. After graduation, I worked for a well-known yearbook company for about 6 years and gained a lot of experience and knowledge in studio portraiture, as well as covering graduations, proms, awards ceremonies, and sporting events.

A hobby I found while I was in college drew me into yet another avenue of photography: dance photography. I've covered a number of large-scale dance events in the Boston area, as well as being the resident photographer for Eleganza Dance Company since 2021.

My final avenue of photography is concerts. I've always been drawn to music and love live music, so I created my passion project: New England Neon Media in 2024 - covering everything from local acts in dive bars to nationally recognized names in large scale venues. My favorite genre is country/americana/bluegrass, but I love branching out and finding hidden gems!

Unsurprisingly, when I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me on the dance floor - I've been a competitive dancer for around a decade, training in Country, Swing, Latin, and Ballroom dancing. My day job is teaching partner dancing to individuals and couples in the Boston area. On the weekends, you'll find me teaching line dances around New England with local bands, blending my love for music, movement, and community.
